Sinah Warren Hotel, Hayling Island - 5 days

TURKEY & TINSEL With festive fun - an early Christmas and New Year rolled into one

Sinah Warren is a Warner Hotel for over 21s situated on Hayling Island, an exclusive inlet reached via a causeway from the Hampshire coast. This elegant hotel was originally home to a health farm in the 15th century and provides beautiful views over the peaceful Langstone harbour. Live music and shows every night provide the perfect evening to accompany a stroll along the coast or visit to Portsmouth Harbour. Located on the west coast of Hayling Island, Sinah Warren opened its doors in 1958. The seafront location looks over Langstone Harbour and brings a relaxed, nautical theme to the place. The Driftwood Restaurant, Spinnaker lounge, and Harbour lounge and spa, offer quality meals, drinks and treatments to guests. 55 acres of grounds featuring a mix of planted beds, woodland areas and manicured lawns, dotted with protected eucalyptus trees and other exotic plants. The Spinnaker lounge: A tucked-away lounge with warm colours and tall windows allowing for great views of the front gardens. Serving light bites throughout the day. Caters for 66 covers. The Harbour lounge and bar: Embedded in the Spa and Wellness centre, this lounge has a relaxed ambience with cool colours. Open all day for drinks. Caters for 44 covers. The Driftwood Restaurant: A spacious room with natural colours, wooden furniture and floor-to-ceiling windows bringing in lots of light. The restaurant is well loved for its comfortable atmosphere, and views of surrounding green spaces. Caters for 410 covers. Pavilion theatre and bar: The main entertainment venue of the hotel, boasting a grand stage and large dance floor. Moody lights bring a rosy, excited glow to the room with enough tables to seat every single hotel guest (520 covers). Plus, the adjoined bar means quick and easy service with an additional seating for up to 108.

Day 1 – Depart from Spalding at 8am, after a couple of convenience stops we expect to arrive at the hotel about 4pm
Day 2 – Depart the hotel at 9.45am to Beaulieu. From the earliest motor carriages to classic family saloons, the world-famous National Motor Museum has one of the finest collections of cars, motorcycles and motoring memorabilia in the world. From legendary F1 cars and land speed record breakers for the speed freaks, to incredible examples of pioneering motoring for the history-buffs. alace House, once the gatehouse of the medieval Beaulieu Abbey, has been the Montagu family home since 1538. In an idyllic New Forest setting, overlooking the picturesque Beaulieu River millpond, Palace House was remodeled and extended during the 1800s and is now a fine example of a Victorian country house. Inside, its ecclesiastical heritage sets the grand gothic tone for a home bristling with character and adorned with family treasures, portraits, and memorabilia. This 800 year old Abbey was founded by King John in the 13th Century before being destroyed on the orders of King Henry VIII in 1538. Owing to the efforts of the Montagu family ancestors, distant relations of these former kings, the now tranquil Abbey is a conserved ruin where generations of visitors have enjoyed its peaceful setting and appreciated the achievements of its medieval builders.
Day 3 – Depart the hotel at 10am to Winchester. A city steeped in history, Winchester is England’s ancient capital and former seat of King Alfred the Great. Today Winchester combines the best of city life with the freshness of the surrounding countryside. One hour from London, this is England as it used to be. With world class attractions and architecture including a magnificent college, award-winning pubs and restaurants and a tempting array of independent shops. This culturally rich medieval city is surrounded by idyllic Hampshire villages and the fabulous rolling countryside of the South Downs National Park. Winchester Christmas Market should also be on during our visit, but confirmed dates are still to be announced
Day 4 – Free time at the hotel to enjoy all the activities and facilities that Warner Hotels offer.
Day 5 – Depart from the hotel at 10am, with a couple of stops on route, arriving back in Spalding about 5pm
